Do it yourself belt? As easy as pie!

To do this, you will need: A strip of leather (or other material with a non-shedding edge), button, hook or buckle for a fastener. To do the job, a paper knife and a ruler.
2 strips of leather shir. 3 cm, the middle is marked and 3 cm slits are made through 3 cm. Then the strips are interlaced by alternately threading others into each other. It is important not to make unnecessary cuts, one turned out to be superfluous, I had to sew it from the inside out. And then - a matter of fantasy. I have this button, the remaining tail did not cut, while retaining the ability to lengthen the belt. Here the manufacturing is clear.
By varying the width of the woven strips and the length of the slots, different results can be obtained: more voluminous or flatter varants.
Recently I made a hair band on the same principle.
