Surely you have a pair of your favorite jeans, whose trousers on the bottom are a little dilapidated. Fabric lapels will solve this problem.

For work you will need:

- jeans
- Cotton fabric
- scissors
- Ruler
- Threads and needle for sewing, sewing machine
- pins

Step 1

From the cotton fabric, cut out two identical rectangular pieces with a width equal to the width of the jeans along the bottom edge with allowances of 1 cm. Determine the height of future lapels yourself.

Step 2

Fold each part in half, face inward and grind in a short cut.

Step 3

Turn out the details of the lapels on the front side. Pin the lapels to the bottom cuts of the jeans with the wrong side to the wrong side. In this case, the lapels should protrude beyond the edge of the lower sections of jeans to the width of the hem. Unscrew the protruding allowance on the front of the jeans and sew it by hand with a blind stitch, or stitch it on a sewing machine.

Step 4

Process the upper edge of the lapels on the overlock, either in a zigzag stitch or tuck 1 cm and sew it on the jeans manually with a blind seam.
