Virtuoso decor: quilling flowers

Narrow strips of paper and dexterous fingers are the secret of graceful decorative flower pendants that will become a wonderful decoration for your home.

You will need:

Илли paper strips for quilling yellow, green and other colors 5 mm wide
Yellow photocardboard residues
✽ quilling pencil
✽ strips of paper of white, orange and pink colors in size of 2 x 1 cm; yellow 8 x 0.6 cm
Satin ribbons in matching colors 60 cm long and 3 mm wide
✽ waxed cotton cord approx. 1 m and a diameter of 1 mm
Thin wire for needlework
3 double-sided adhesive tape 3 mm wide
✽ small wooden beads.

Besides:

Scissors

Step 1

For one flower, 6 yellow and 1 orange paper strip will be required. Fold one yellow strip 5 times in accordance with the pattern on the motif sheet. Overlay the yellow strip with an orange strip of approx. 15 cm and bend. Repeat the action six times. Fix the ends of the strips with glue. For the core, fold the three half strips of yellow and orange to each other, twist with a spiral, and fix the ends with glue.

Step 2

From a yellow cardboard, cut a circle with a diameter of 2.5 cm. According to the photo, place the petals on the circle, stick and allow to dry. Gently push the paper flower from the back.

Glue the core in the center of the flower. Hang the flower on a thin cord. From a green satin ribbon and a cotton cord, tie a bow, string small beads at the ends and tie knots. Glue the bow to the back of the flower.

Step 3

For one egg, take together 4 light green and gray or blue and purple paper strips, twist with a spiral.

Cut out an egg motif from cardboard. Unroll the paper strips, lay on the egg motif and shape.

At the sharp end of the egg, bend the strips slightly. Fasten the ends of the strips with a thin wire, shorten and glue them together. After the figures have dried, remove the wire.

Step 4

For the daisy core, glue the adhesive tape on one side of the yellow paper strip. The remaining free part of the paper strip is cut in the form of a fringe. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape, twist the strip with a spiral. Cut pink, white and orange strips in the same way and wrap each around a pencil, fix the ends with glue.

Glue a core in the middle of each flower. Hang the egg on a cord of a suitable color. Attach a bow to the bottom of the egg (see step 2) and glue two daisies.
