The 2020 cruise collection from the design duo Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig was not based on a big story on a grand scale (for example, earlier they were inspired by the tales of “One Thousand and One Nights” or by Dutch painters), but a very private and personal story. One of the junior designers Marchesa Notte shared with fashion designers memories of her childhood in Ireland: fabulous mysterious forests and rivers, foggy fields and restrained colors. It was these impressions that became the inspiration for the new brand collection.
