Is there not enough space for the dog in the apartment or do you have insufficient free time to walk it? It doesn’t matter - sew a faithful dog from the remnants of fabrics.

Peacefully lying on the threshold, it will add comfort to your home. In addition, he will not require special care, will not bother anyone with barking and will exude a delicate smell of lavender ...

YOU WILL NEED:
The length of our model is approx. 100 cm
- wrapping paper to increase the details of the pattern
- for the body and insert (A) x b fabric with a pattern of 1.20 m long, 140 cm wide
- for nose and mouth: flap x plain fabric.
- for ears and inserts (B. C and D): the remainder of the tissue into the cell
- cotton wool for stuffing
- dried lavender inflorescences
- matching thread for sewing.

INCREASE THE PATTERN
On wrapping paper, draw a raster cell size. 10 x 10 cm. Translate the details of the pattern onto the raster, as shown in this photo.
Cut out the details of the pattern in its original size.
CUT
Fold the fabric with the pattern in half, face up. Cut out the following parts with allowances of 1 cm in all sections: 2 body parts, 4 parts of the front legs, 2 external parts of the hind legs, 2 internal parts of the hind legs (= only to the dashed line, see the pattern). 1 strip for insert size OK. 8 x 90 cm (= A).
Fold the fabric into the cage also twice with the face inward and cut out the following parts from it: 4 ears with allowances of 1 cm, 2 strips for insertion size.5 x 95 cm for the front legs (= B), 2 strips for inserting size. 5 x 115 cm for the hind legs (= C), 1 strip for insertion on the abdomen size. OK. 8 x 90 cm (= D).
SEWING
Stitch 2 parts of the ears face to face across all sections. Leave the eversion hole. Cut the seam allowances and twist your ears. Iron the edges. Sew the hole in the seam manually.
Insert the ears into the corresponding parts of the body, stitch.
The size of the inserts is given with allowances; if necessary, cut off excess allowances, but only after you grind the inserts.
Stitch a long section of the insert, A from the dashed line to the back of the head and further to the body, gradually nullifying in the neck (wedge), face to face, while grabbing the ear. Stitch the second long section of the insert appropriately to another part of the body.
In the neck area, both parts of the insert must fit accurately. Here it is necessary to leave a hole for stuffing in the seam.
Stitch insert D to the stomach from the tail to the beginning of the neck, as described above. At the ends of the seam again beveled with a wedge (nullify).
Stitch seams on the back and beginning of the tail. Cut off the allowances on the curves.
Stitch inserts B and C to the front and hind legs. On the front legs, leave a hole for turning out in the seam. Cut the allowances close to the seam, turn the dog out.
PACKING AND ASSEMBLY
Stuff the dog (lightly) with cotton and lavender inflorescences. Sew holes in the seam. Manually sew the front and hind legs to the body.
From the plain fabric, cut an oval for the muzzle. Iron allowances inward and sew.
Sew a collar if desired (see photo).
