The 60s became a real "era of change"! The world of fashion has become liberated and presented a whole string of exceptionally striking styles, which are still popular today.

60s: hot and stylish! Burda Special Project 07/2019

For the first time in the history of fashion, style rules were dictated not by recognized podium authorities, but by progressive youth. It was in the 60s that the young post-war generation was formed, which became economically independent from their parents and who extremely wanted to go their own way - to listen to music that they liked and wear clothes that they chose.

In this decade, Paris, for many years acting as the main fashion capital, began a rivalry with London. Moreover, if French fashion still dictated the course for "sophisticated femininity" with elegant costumes and dresses, then English literally required a change!
